A tragic incident unfolded in Ullal, Bengaluru, where a woman sustained severe injuries after a geyser exploded in a lawyer’s residence. The mishap occurred on the main road of Ramachandra Layout in Ullal, where the woman, employed as a domestic worker, was at the house when the blast happened.

The explosion was so powerful that the woman suffered multiple injuries and had to be immediately hospitalized. She was initially admitted to a private hospital for treatment and is currently receiving care at Abhaya Hospital. The incident, which reportedly took place four days ago, came to light only recently.
According to sources, the explosion occurred while the woman was working near the geyser. The cause of the blast is still under investigation, but it is suspected to be due to a malfunction in the geyser system. The property owner, a lawyer by profession, reportedly delayed informing authorities and only advised the injured woman to seek treatment at a government hospital after several days of private medical care.
The case has been registered under the jurisdiction of the Jnanabharathi police station. Authorities are now investigating the cause of the explosion and are expected to question the house owner regarding the delay in providing timely and proper medical assistance to the injured woman.
