Gold and silver prices are witnessing fluctuations, with a noticeable uptick compared to Christmas Day. As the New Year approaches, analysts anticipate further increases in the value of these precious metals. Here's a detailed look at today’s prices.

In Bengaluru, the price of 22-carat gold has seen a modest rise. One gram now costs ₹7,125, up ₹25 from ₹7,100 yesterday. For 10 grams, the price has increased by ₹250, reaching ₹71,250. Meanwhile, 24-carat gold prices have also climbed, with 1 gram priced at ₹7,773, a ₹28 increase from ₹7,745. Ten grams of 24-carat gold now cost ₹77,730, up ₹280 from yesterday.
Gold prices in other major cities show slight variations:
- Delhi: 22-carat at ₹71,400, 24-carat at ₹77,880
- Kolkata, Pune, and Mumbai: 22-carat at ₹71,250, 24-carat at ₹77,730
Silver prices have also risen in Bengaluru. One gram now costs ₹92.50, up ₹1 from ₹91.50 yesterday. For 100 grams, the price has increased by ₹100, reaching ₹9,250.
The upward trend in gold and silver prices highlights their appeal as safe-haven investments amid market uncertainty. With the New Year around the corner, many buyers are keeping a close eye on the market, anticipating further changes in these valuable commodities.
