Gold looted at gunpoint from jewellery shop near Magadi Road in Bengaluru

A shocking armed robbery took place near Machohalli Gate on Magadi Road, Bengaluru, where a gang of masked men looted a jewellery shop at gunpoint. The incident occurred on the night of July 24 around 9 PM, just as Ram Jewellery was about to close for the day.

According to eyewitnesses, a group of masked robbers barged into the store with a gun in hand and overpowered the staff. The terrified employees began shouting for help, but the gang forcefully pushed them aside and swiftly grabbed gold ornaments before fleeing the scene.

Hearing the staff’s cries, nearby shopkeepers rushed to the location, but the culprits had already escaped. Preliminary investigations reveal that three robbers managed to flee with the stolen gold. A case has been registered at the Madanayakanahalli Police Station, and a search is currently underway to trace the gang involved in the armed robbery.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage and taking witness statements as part of the ongoing investigation.
