Earlier, a notice was served to women who were suspected to have been targeted by Prajwal Revanna. This included a Police Inspector and an Excise Inspector. They have alleged that they were lured by an offer of a transfer of posting before being sexually harassed. They have stated that they were coerced into participating in a video call. The videos were later forcefully procured from them.

The officials presented their statement to the SIT on 5th May. Sexual favours were reportedly demanded after the officials had been transferred. This may get considered as an offence under Section 376 C of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) that deals with rape charges from a person misusing authority. They have also mentioned that they were further blackmailed by Prajwal Revanna after the video was procured.
