Indian cricketer Shubman Gill has etched a name for himself in the world of cricket with his explosive batting skills. 

Though the world calls him Gill, he has a very interesting moniker. His teammates address him ‘Kaka’. ‘Kaka’ means baby in Punjabi. 

In fact, the name has gained so much traction that his own family members have begun using this name to address him. The name invariably stems from the fact that the cricketer is handsome and has baby looks. 

Gill was born on September 8, 1999. The right-handed batsman plays for Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League and Punjab in the Ranji set up

Interestingly, Gill is also the holder of record for the fastest player to score 2000 runs in ODIs.
