State's inaugural health ATM introduced in Kalaburagi
These ATMs are part of the 'Arogya Mitra' program
Tests like blood pressure, oxygen levels can be done at this ATM
Kalaburagi has introduced the state’s inaugural health ATM, a groundbreaking initiative designed to enhance citizen convenience.
In a pioneering move, the health department of the state government has launched a health ATM in Kalaburagi district, allowing individuals to obtain comprehensive health reports in just 10 minutes.
These ATMs were unveiled by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during the recent Kalyana Karnataka Utsav. This innovation enables the public to access their health test reports swiftly, eliminating the need for queuing up at hospitals and incurring unnecessary expenses.
As part of the ‘Arogya Mitra’ program, HP Enterprises has generously allocated 25 health ATM units to Kalaburagi. This benevolent gesture on Kalyana Karnataka Day provides the people of Kalaburagi with a significant gift in the form of these ATM units received through a CSR grant.
It’s important to note that not all health tests offered through the health ATMs can be self-administered by the public. For specific tests such as blood and urine tests, the assistance of a lab technician is required. However, common tests like blood pressure, oxygen levels, and weight can be self-administered.
By pre-registering their phone number, individuals can conveniently receive their health reports on WhatsApp. The health ATM test offers an effective alternative to hospital visits and expenses for minor health concerns, delivering precise and accurate reports.
Furthermore, it ensures the secure and confidential storage of patients’ medical records. The people of Kalaburagi are delighted to have access to this innovative health ATM service, which promises to significantly improve their healthcare experience.
