The iconic Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium witnessed a surge of excited fans as global Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh launched his ‘Dil-Luminati’ India tour in New Delhi on Saturday. With thousands of fans eager to attend the event, the city’s traffic reached a standstill, even causing Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal to abandon his car and walk to the venue.

Goyal shared glimpses of his journey through social media, posting a photo of the heavy traffic with the caption, “Walking the last mile to the JLN stadium for Diljit. Sooooo much traffic.” He also shared an image of a display warning concertgoers of prohibited items, including weapons, laser pointers, and flammable materials.
Ahead of the concert, the Delhi Traffic Police issued a detailed advisory to manage traffic near the JLN Stadium, as well as in areas around the Radha Soami Satsang event, which further added to the congestion. Key measures included restricting heavy vehicles on Bhati Mines Road and implementing diversions on routes such as the Mehrauli-Gurugram Road.
Dosanjh’s ‘Dil-Luminati’ tour, following international stops across the U.S. and Europe, promises a series of performances across major Indian cities, including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Bengaluru.
