Actor Paresh Rawal has confirmed that he will be returning to Hera Pheri 3 clearing up the confusion that had surrounded the film in recent weeks. This led to rumours that he was sued for backing out of the project as well.

Fans were disappointed especially since Rawal’s character ‘Baburao' is one of the most loved in the Hera Pheri movie series. However, Rawal has now explained that there was no fight or disagreement with anyone. The team simply felt it was important to take a pause and make sure the film was shaping up well before moving ahead. Also the creative director Farhad Samji wanted to improve the script, humour and overall feel of the film before restarting it.

He said that since the earlier Hera Pheri films were such big hits, the team didn’t want to rush the third part. There was pressure to meet expectations so they wanted to improve the story and overall planning too. Rawal also confirmed that the original team Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and himself are all working together again for this project.

He shared all of this during a podcast with Himanshu Mehta, where he mentioned that the team had to “fine-tune themselves” to deliver a film that lives up to what the fans are hoping for.
