If hydration levels plummet, the consequences can be disastrous. So let’s see how to keep ourselves healthy.
- The first thing a person should do in the mornings is to drink at least a glass of water. This helps in metabolism and gives us an energy boost.
- Drinking a glass of water just before a meal helps in digestion.
- It’s imperative we include a lot of fibre in our diet. At the same time, it is also important we eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Also, do not forget to include green leafy vegetables. They go a long way in helping the body retain its hydration levels.
- Interestingly, the colour of our urine also goes a long way in telling us whether our water levels are low. Light-coloured urine is fine. Dark-coloured urine is a sign of dehydration.
- It is always better to reduce chats and oily items during summer.
- Avoid walking in the hot sun, for it may burn the skin badly. Early morning or late evening walks help in mitigating the consequences of hot sun.
