The Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) season 15 has its first crorepati. Jaskaran from Punjab has emerged as the first contestant to win Rs 1 crore on KBC 15.

‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’ started on August 14. Actor Amitabh Bachchan was back as the host of this popular quiz show. KBC 15 is being broadcast on Sony TV.

13 days after the KBC season 15 began, the show has got its first crorepati. In the promotional video of KBC 15, Jaskaran from Punjab is seen as winning Rs 1 crore on the show and host Amitabh Bachchan is also seen asking him to answer the final question to win Rs 7 crore. The episodes featuring this new crorepati will be aired on Sony TV at 9pm on September 4 and 5.

Jaskaran hails from a small village in Punjab and he is one of the few graduates from his village. He is currently preparing for UPSC exam.

'Kaun Banega Crorepati 15' is broadcast on Sony TV from Monday to Friday at 9 pm. 'Super Sandook' option is introduced in this season where contestants can retrieve what they might have lost during the quiz show. Another life line called Double Dip was also introduced recently in this quiz show.
