Dilshan, Gayle and Raina would also feature in the tournament

A fan page of Sandalwood-star Kiccha Sudeep had made a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) fawning over his look on “Super Sundays with Sudeep”, a weekly feature of the 10th season of Bigg Boss Kannada. The post received more than 100,000 impressions, close to 300 likes and 60 retweets.

Former South African opener Herschelle Gibbs also quoted the post with the caption “See you in a few weeks for the Kannada Chalanachitra Cup”. He also tagged the X account of Kiccha Sudeep in his post. Kiccha Sudeep responded to this by saying, “Yes my brotherman”. He too tagged Herschelle Gibbs in hispost. He also highlighted that this would be the fourth edition of the Kannada Chalanachitra Cup.

Former Sri Lankan opener Tilakaratne Dilshan, former West Indian batsman known for his explosive hitting, Chris Gayle, former Indian middle order batsman Suresh Raina are some of the other prominent players who would feature in the tournament. Just like the third edition, this edition might also consist of six teams. Whether traditional T-20 games would be played or split into 2 innings of 10 overs each is yet to be determined. Currently, the title is held by the “Telugu Warriors”.
