With the 2024 ICC T-20 World Cup having come to an end, cricket fans would now be focussed towards the upcoming World Test Championship and the Champions Trophy scheduled to be held in 2025. Although West Indies has had a shaky start to their campaign having won just 1 game of the 4 they have had so far, they would take confidence from the fact that their solitary win came against Australia in Brisbane after more than 20 years.

The West Indies team led by captain Kraigg Brathwaite will take on England at the Lord’s in a game starting on July 10th. West Indies all rounder Jason Holder who did not feature in the team’s famous win against Australia due to his stint with the Dubai Capitals in the ILT20. He would however feature in the upcoming series against England. “I was so happy for the boys when they did what they did in Australia. It gave me a renewed energy to come back to the group and be a part of something special again. I have missed Test cricket, and I am looking forward to it. It’s important to build on Australia. I think the guys took a lot from that. We are coming out to win this series. We have some special talent in the dressing room. It’s just about playing solid cricket and having belief. We have been doing some really positive things for the last couple of months, and as a young side the main thing is to keep learning,” Jason said in an interaction with Sky Sports
