Despite reports suggesting that hospitals and cemeteries in Wuhan are becoming overloaded, Dhole downplayed the severity of the situation, assuring that life in the city is continuing normally. "This is false news. The rules are not strict here. We are all leading a normal lifestyle. There is no emergency whatsoever," she stated, dismissing claims of widespread panic.
Dhole also pointed out that the harsh winter has set in, a common factor for viral diseases to spread. She explained that such outbreaks are typical during this season, and there is no reason for undue concern.
Earlier reports had suggested increased precautions in China, including the placement of sanitizers in public spaces, mandatory mask-wearing, and compulsory tests for children. However, Dhole emphasized that these measures are routine and do not indicate a crisis. As of now, she reassured that life in Wuhan remains unaffected, and there is no need to worry about the ongoing situation.
