The fifth chapter of the iconic Housefull series, Housefull 5, helmed by director Tarun Mansukhani and headlined by Akshay Kumar, has taken the Indian box office by storm. It was released on June 6, 2025 and has gathered an impressive Rs 87 crore over its opening weekend, positioning it as a frontrunner to hit the Rs 100 crore milestone by Monday evening. This vibrant comedy-thriller has captivated audiences, cementing its status as one of Bollywood’s biggest hits of 2025.

Produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 boasts a star-studded lineup featuring Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, and Nana Patekar. Set aboard a luxurious cruise, Housefull 5 infuses its signature wild comedy with a fresh whodunit twist, featuring a distinctive dual-ending format, Housefull 5A and 5B, each revealing a different culprit.

Despite a hefty production budget estimated at Rs 225-375 crore, requiring Rs 450-750 crore to break even, analysts are bullish on its prospects, predicting sustained momentum through the week.
