Preparations for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha are underway in many parts of India. The same is true for Karnataka. Prominent micro sculpture artist from Bengaluru Sachin Sanghe has sent sculptures of Ram Lalla he crafted to Ayodhya. He has expressed his joy on this occasion.
Saplings of the Cannonball tree were sent from the Dakshina Kannada district. It is believed that in the depression around the linga that provided a channel for the flow of water, for the protection of the snake Vasuki which Shiva used as the Pinaka (bow-string), the flower of this tree was used. It exists as a proof of nature’s wonders. It would be planted in the enclosure around Ram Mandir.
Nalini Vinod hailing from Raichur made a figurine of the Ram Mandir with chalk pieces. This microcraft was dedicated to Lord Ram. The Muslim community in Haveri draped saffron shawls to demonstrate their spirituality on this occasion. The death anniversary of holy men of the Muslim religion was celebrated by religious leaders of both Hinduism and Islam. Messages of unity were relayed.
In the Koti Anjaneya Swamy temple in Mysuru, a 111 feet long agarbatti (effervescence stick) was crafted by Arun Yogaraj. The initiative was taken in a partnership with Cycle Aggarbati. It is estimated to burn for 23 days.
In the Mysore Bank Circle in Bengaluru, a 15 foot statue of Lord Rama has been installed.
