‘I don’t have to appease a section of so-called media,’: Tapsee Pannu on ‘Paparazzi culture’

The trailer of Bollywood actress Tapsee Pannu-starrer ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’ has been released. ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’ will be released on August 9th. Tapsee is busy with the promotion of her upcoming film. 

Tapsee was asked about the Paparazzi culture surrounding Bollywood on Fever FM. Tapsee talked about her response to the same. “How will you click on the news then? Tell me who clicks on positive news? When was the last time you clicked on a positive news? Now, this kind of news is more sensational. ‘She’s being nasty and rude to paparazzi' so everyone is like, ‘what happened? Let's see.’ So that is more exciting for an audience,” Tapsee said.

Tapsee also reflected on the revenue models of media channels influencing the actions of photographers. Tapsee highlighted that her professional life isn’t impacted by her relationship with the photographers. “These things aren't fetching me films. My films speak for themselves. So I don't have to appease a section of so-called media, I don't even call them direct media because they're serving their vested interest in someone clicking on their portal. I don't call them the media. Media is not supposed to desperately put out lines or videos that are clickbait,” Tapsee added.
