Fifth test match will commence on 7th March

This is Ben Stokes' first series loss as test captain

I haven’t seen wild swinging from anyone: Rohit

The fifth and final test match between India and England will commence in England on 7th March. India has already secured a series victory. However, England will still pose a challenge as the Dharamsala pitch wherein the match is scheduled will offer more assistance to seam.

Interestingly, this is the first time that the Brendon McCullum- Ben Stokes pair have lost a series. The Bzball approach became popularised under this duo. Indian captain Rohit Sharma however still has some doubts. “I just don’t know what Bazball means. I haven’t seen wild swinging from anyone. England have played better cricket than they were here last time. But I still don’t know what Bazball means (sic),” he said in an interaction with reporters on March 6th.

He even made a cheeky remark on England opener Ben Duckett’s assertion that Yashasvi Jaiswal was influenced by Bazball. “There was a guy called Rishabh Pant in our team, probably Ben Duckett hasn’t seen him play,” Rohit stated. Ben Duckett had earlier mentioned, “playing like that, it almost feels like we should take some credit that they’re playing differently than how other people play Test cricket.” This was during the third test when Yashasvi Jaiswal had hit 12 sixes during his double century.
