The winner of the tournament will take home a massive $2.24 million (₹19.5 crore) along with the coveted Champions Trophy. The runner-up will receive ₹9.75 crore. Even the semi-finalists who failed to advance will not go empty-handed, as each will be awarded ₹4.85 crore.
The total prize pool for the 2025 Champions Trophy stands at ₹60 crore, reflecting a 53% increase from the previous edition in 2017. Teams finishing in 5th and 6th place will earn ₹3 crore, while those ending in 7th and 8th positions will receive ₹1.2 crore.
Moreover, every team that wins at least one match will get a bonus of ₹29.5 lakh per victory. All eight participating teams will also receive ₹1.08 crore simply for competing in the tournament.
With such high stakes, both India and New Zealand will be aiming for glory in Sunday’s final, not only for the title but also for the record-breaking prize money.
