In the 121st episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists, including a Nepali citizen, and injured over 36 others. Highlighting international solidarity, Modi shared that global leaders had reached out with messages of support and condemnation. "The world stands firmly with 1.4 billion Indians in the fight against terrorism," he said, assuring that the perpetrators would face the "harshest response."

Reaffirming India’s resilience, the Prime Minister praised the unity of its people, stating that the strength of 140 crore Indians would defeat the enemies of peace. He noted that the attack came at a time when Kashmir was witnessing progress and stability, which, he said, was "not acceptable to the enemies of Jammu and Kashmir."

Amid heightened tensions, the Indian government announced the revocation of all categories of visas issued to Pakistani nationals, effective April 27, excluding diplomatic, official, and long-term visas. Medical visas will remain valid until April 29, according to a statement from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan has also directed states to take necessary actions, marking a significant shift in India’s visa and security policies following the attack.
