Team India continues its dominance in ODI cricket, excelling both as a unit and through individual performances. The latest ICC rankings reflect India’s supremacy, with four players securing spots in the top 10 of the batting charts.

Shubman Gill has emerged as the No. 1 ODI batsman with a rating of 817. The young opener’s consistent performances, including a strong showing in the Champions Trophy, have propelled him to the top. Meanwhile, captain Rohit Sharma holds the third spot, displaying a balanced approach that combines aggression with experience. Virat Kohli, finding his rhythm after a lean patch, has climbed to fifth place following his recent century in the Champions Trophy. Middle-order mainstay Shreyas Iyer has also broken into the top 10, securing the ninth position.

In the bowling department, India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah continues to reign at No. 1 with 908 points. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav also features in the top five, underlining India’s all-round bowling strength. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja has taken the top spot in the all-rounder rankings with 400 points, reaffirming his value to the team.

As India remains the No. 1 ODI team, all eyes are now on the Champions Trophy. Having already secured a semifinal berth with an unbeaten run, the Men in Blue aim to clinch the elusive title and stamp their authority as the undisputed kings of ODI cricket.
