In a landmark moment, the Indian government held a detailed press briefing on Operation Sindhoor, with Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Colonel Sophia Qureshi, two women officers, leading the session. This marked the first time a military briefing of such magnitude was conducted under the leadership of female officers. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri also participated in the briefing.

During the operation, India targeted a total of nine terror hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These included training camps and headquarters of major terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM).

Markaz Taiba, Muridke – LeT
Sarjal, Tehra Kalan – JeM
Mehmoona Joya, Sialkot – HM
Markaz Abbas, Kotli – JeM
Markaz Ahle Hadith, Barnala – LeT
Maskar Raheel Shahid, Kotli – HM
Shawai Nalla Camp, Muzaffarabad – LeT
Syedna Bilal Camp, Muzaffarabad – JeM
The Indian military also released videos of these strikes, confirming the precision of the operations. Importantly, the Indian Army clarified that no Pakistani military bases were targeted and no harm was caused to civilians.
