According to sources, Asif Ahmed played a key role in assisting the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack. He reportedly supplied them with weapons and helped coordinate their movement before and after the incident. Acting on this information, security forces launched the current operation in Tral.

The Indian Army has cordoned off the area and continues to search for the remaining militants.

Security forces are on high alert as the operation continues, with reinforcements deployed to ensure no terrorists escape the cordon. Further updates are awaited as the situation unfolds.
