Shukla, who reached the ISS on June 26 along with three fellow astronauts, has been part of a multi-national crew conducting critical space experiments and studies in microgravity. The mission involved various scientific investigations aimed at enhancing understanding of space medicine, technology testing, and long-duration human spaceflight capabilities.

As part of their routine, the astronauts have been engaged in a variety of biological, chemical, and environmental studies, contributing to global space research efforts. The mission’s findings are expected to support future deep space exploration and improve the efficiency of space station operations.

Shukla’s return on July 14 marks a significant moment for India's growing involvement in human spaceflight, as the country continues to collaborate on international missions and prepares for its own indigenous astronaut programs under ISRO.
