After having won the 2024 ICC T-20 World Cup, the Indian Cricket Team is faced with a precarious situation. They are unable to leave Barbados at the moment. A cyclone has been looming over the country forcing the team to stay indoors.
As per schedule, the team was set to leave for New York from Barbados. The cyclone has however caused delays in this plan. The adverse weather conditions have caused troubles for the team. The airport in Barbados has been temporarily closed.

Reports indicate that a re alert has been issued across Barbados. People have been cautioned against venturing outside their homes. The cyclone named Beryl has proved to be a setback for many.
It is being said that the plan of Team India to reach New York has been cancelled. A chartered flight dedicated for the team will be arranged to take the team directly to the Delhi Airport. They would have to remain in Barbados until the situation improves. Based on the present scenario, the team is likely to return to India on July 3rd.
