Six individuals from India, including a travel content creator from Haryana, have been taken into custody for allegedly being involved in the transmission of sensitive data to Pakistan's intelligence agencies. The group reportedly operated across Haryana and Punjab, with each member playing distinct roles, ranging from providing information to handling funds and acting as intermediaries for the intelligence network.

One of the key individuals implicated in the case is Jyoti Malhotra, who runs a travel-focused YouTube channel under the name "Travel with Jo." Investigators revealed that she travelled to Pakistan in 2023, securing a visa with help from commission-based intermediaries. During this trip, she came into contact with Ehsan-ur-Rahim, also known as Danish, an official associated with the Pakistan High Commission (PHC) in New Delhi.
Sources claim that Danish played a central role in linking Jyoti with several Pakistani Intelligence Officers (PIOs). These interactions reportedly deepened over time, raising red flags among Indian intelligence agencies. Following the revelations, Danish was expelled from India on May 13, 2025, and declared persona non grata due to his alleged involvement in espionage-related activities.
Authorities believe the busted network operated through covert financial transactions and communication channels. The investigation is ongoing, with further arrests and revelations anticipated as agencies continue to trace the extent of the information leak.
