The inaugural edition will be hosted at Bangalore Golf Club over three match days—March 13, 20, and 27, 2025. With 90 registered participants, the league has drawn nationwide attention, bringing together golfers from Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mysore, and Madikeri, as well as a few Korean nationals. The participants have been grouped into six teams: Team East West Elites, Team Gopalan Giants, Team Ramaiah Royals, Team Morado Mahilas, Team Raj Infra Green Legends, and Team Sudarshan Strikers.

The initiative aims to reshape women’s golf in India by providing a structured competitive platform and fostering a strong community. The league is the brainchild of Tanisha Rohira, Samrudhi Sujesh, Anjali Attavar Santosh, and Hema Priya, all dedicated to expanding the sport’s reach among women.

As India’s first women-owned golf company, 180 Golf continues to push boundaries with its commitment to inclusivity. By organizing high-profile tournaments and retreats, it is paving the way for a thriving women’s golfing community and positioning India on the global golfing map.
