In an interview following his victory, Swapnil Kusale shared that MS Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, has been a significant source of inspiration for him. Swapnil revealed his admiration for Dhoni, stating that he has been a fan for years. Swapnil noted that, despite his focus on shooting, he has been deeply influenced by Dhoni's discipline and dedication. He even mentioned watching the movie "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story" multiple times, finding motivation in Dhoni's life and career.

Swapnil's bronze medal not only adds to India's medal count but also stands as a testament to the enduring influence of sports icons like MS Dhoni on the country's athletes.
