Ekagrah Rohan Murthy, the 17-month old grandson of Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy, is already among India’s youngest millionaires. He is set to receive Rs 3.3 crore from Infosys as part of the company’s final dividend for the financial year ending March 2025, pushing his total dividend income to Rs 10.65 crore. Ekagrah owns 15 lakh shares in Infosys, making up a 0.04% stake. These shares were gifted to him by his grandfather in 2024 when he was just four months old. Infosys has declared a final dividend of Rs 22 per share, with a record date of May 30 and a payment date of June 30. Earlier in the year, the company paid Rs 27 per share through interim dividend, amounting to Rs 7.35 crore for Ekagrah. Combined, the total dividend payout this year stands at Rs 49 per share.

In its Q4 FY25 results, Infosys reported a 2% drop in revenue to Rs 40,925 crore but a 3% rise in net profit to Rs 7033 crore, exceeding analyst expectations. The company’s stock has had a flat year but is expected to rise, with analysts projecting a 32.4% upside. Despite the mixed performance, investor sentiment remains largely positive.
