In a fresh leak just hours before Apple’s highly anticipated event tonight, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has revealed potential pricing details for the iPhone 16 Pro. Contrary to earlier rumors of a price hike, Gurman suggests that Apple may retain the starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro at $999, the same as its predecessor.

Gurman’s report also hinted at key upgrades for the iPhone 16 Pro, such as slimmer bezels, improved battery life, and a touch-sensitive camera button across all models. A significant highlight is expected to be the inclusion of the A18 chip, which will power the entire iPhone 16 series, enhancing its AI capabilities.

Meanwhile, Apple Hub previously indicated a price hike, predicting the iPhone 16 Pro could start at $1,099 for the 256GB variant. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro Max may start at $1,199.

In the US, the base iPhone 16 could be priced at $799, with the iPhone 16 Plus at $899. Indian prices, however, are likely to be higher due to import duties and taxes. For comparison, the iPhone 15 series in India started at Rs 79,900 for the base model, with the Pro Max priced at Rs 1,59,900.

As the event approaches, all eyes are on Apple to confirm these speculated details.
