IPL 2024: On May 18, when Bengaluru lock horns with CSK, it’s ‘18’ that holds the key for RCB!

The IPL 2024 is getting more and more interesting as it graduates into the playoffs. And for RCB fans, it gets all the more interesting as the men in red have won five on the trot and are placed fifth on the points table.

Though they have one more match left in the league stage against CSK, they have to win by a huge margin in order to traipse into the playoffs. 

Here are the two scenarios: 

Scenario 1: If RCB bat first

In this case, they have to beat CSK by at least 18 runs to beat them in their net run rate. 

Scenario 2: If RCB bat second

In this case, they have to chase down the target in 18.1 overs. 

However, these equations may change if rain comes into play. 

RCB on a rollercoaster ride 

It has been nothing short of a stellar performance as RCB have won all their previous 5 matches. Previous to this, they had lost all the six matches. So that means they have risen like the proverbial phoenix! 

Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals are the most favourite to win this edition of the league.
