Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ended their IPL 2025 campaign on a winning note, defeating Gujarat Titans by 83 runs in their final league match at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Despite a disappointing season with only four wins out of 14 matches, CSK gave their fans a reason to cheer as MS Dhoni's men dominated both with the bat and ball.

Winning the toss, CSK elected to bat first and posted a massive 231/5 in 20 overs. Young opener Ayush set the tone with a fiery 34 off 17 balls, including 3 fours and 3 sixes. Devon Conway anchored the innings with a solid 52 off 35 balls. Explosive knocks from Urvil Patel (37 off 19) and Dewald Brevis — dubbed Junior ABD — who smashed 57 off just 23 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes, powered CSK to their highest total this season. Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with 21 runs. Gujarat's Prasidh Krishna picked up 2 wickets but struggled to contain the runs.

Chasing 231, Gujarat faltered early. Skipper Shubman Gill managed only 13, while Jos Buttler (5) and Rutherford (0) fell cheaply. Sai Sudharsan top-scored with 41 off 33 balls but lacked support. Gujarat collapsed to 147 all out in 18.3 overs.

With this thumping win, CSK bid farewell to IPL 2025 in style, while Gujarat Titans lost the match on a dismal note.
