The grand finale of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to take place at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 3, according to a report by Cricbuzz. The venue change comes in light of the ongoing monsoon season, which has prompted organizers to reassess weather-friendly locations for the playoff stage.

As per the revised schedule, the Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator matches are slated to be held in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, on May 29 and 30 respectively. The Qualifier 2, meanwhile, is also expected to be hosted at the Narendra Modi Stadium on June 1, ahead of the title clash.

The decision to shift venues was influenced heavily by unpredictable weather, especially after the resumption of IPL 2025 on May 17 following a brief suspension due to rising India-Pakistan tensions. However, rain continues to play spoilsport , the first match post-resumption, between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), was abandoned due to rain.
