To accommodate the increased footfall during match days, metro services will run until 12:30 am from all four terminal stations—Whitefield (Kadugodi), Challaghatta, Silk Institute, and Madavara. Additionally, the last train from Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, Majestic, towards all four directions will depart at 1:15 am.
This initiative aims to facilitate smooth and safe travel for spectators attending matches at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The extended metro services are expected to alleviate traffic congestion and provide a reliable mode of transportation for thousands of cricket enthusiasts.
BMRCL has urged the public to plan their travel accordingly and make use of the extended services. Metro commuters are encouraged to follow real-time updates through official channels to ensure a seamless commuting experience.
With these measures, Bangalore’s metro system is set to enhance convenience for IPL fans, ensuring an enjoyable match-day experience.
