Here’s a lowdown.

1. How much money do cheerleaders make? 

As per insiders, a cheerleader makes anywhere between Rs 12000 and Rs 24000. While RCB and Mumbai Indians pay Rs 20,000, Kolkata Knight Riders pays Rs 24000 per match, which is the highest pay.

2. What about other teams? 

The other teams pay anywhere between Rs 12000 and Rs 15000.

3. Do they get any bonuses? 

Well, yes! It is based on their performance. Interestingly, if the team they are representing performs well, they get to earn more. On the other hand, they also get a good hotel to stay and scrumptious food to eat!

4. How are cheerleaders selected? 

Well, aspirants have to be experienced in dancing, modelling and performing confidently before crowds. When it comes to IPL, the selection process is indeed rigorous. Aspirants also have to attend a lot of interviews and even written evaluations.
