Starting at 5 AM, the temple premises resonated with sacred chants as 1,008 devotees participated in a 108-round chanting session, offering prayers for global well-being. The spiritual gathering aimed to send a message of hope and healing at a time when geopolitical unrest is causing fear and division worldwide.
The highlight of the event was the recitation of over 18 crore (188.1 million) holy names in a single day, symbolizing devotion, positive energy, and the deep yearning for a peaceful world. The continuous chanting was accompanied by rituals and offerings, with the collective vibration intended to create a spiritual shield against violence and unrest.
Organizers at ISKCON emphasized that such yajnas are not just religious gatherings but spiritual interventions to restore balance in turbulent times. Devotees, young and old, joined hands to participate in what was termed a “global prayer for peace.”
