As the #NoMoreNEET trends, on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi wrote a letter to the Prime Minister, requesting a parliamentary debate regarding the ongoing NEET examination issues. He emphasized, “At this moment, our only concern is the 24 lakh NEET aspirants across India. Lakhs of families have made tremendous personal sacrifices to provide for their children.” He added that these families are looking to their public representatives for solutions, claiming that the NEET issue needs immediate attention “as it has exposed the deep rot in our education system”, he says.

Gandhi noted that over 70 paper leaks have affected more than 2 crore students in the past seven years. By holding a parliamentary debate, he believes it would be a significant step towards addressing and solving this problem.

As the nation awaits the government's response, the future of medical care in India hangs in the balance.
