The war of words between leaders of the Indian National Congress (INC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. The Karnataka State President of the BJP B.Y Vijayendra has now made certain predictions with regard to the outcome of the election. “It would be the world’s eighth wonder if the Congress manages to win even one seat. The Congress will be left running helter-skelter after the results,” he said.
These attacks were made when Vijayendra spoke in Shivamogga. He stated that the mood of Karnataka is more pro-BJP than his expectation. “Modi’s popularity is increasing by the day. The Congress is under a delusion. Each household is talking about Modi. They are witnessing the effect of ‘Modi Guarantee.’ The guarantees offered by the State Government isn’t pertinent. BJP will win in all 28 seats. We have no doubts,” he expressed.
He also addressed the issue of rebel leaders. “We have given the responsibility of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar to Preetham Gowda. Prajwal Revanna will win by a huge margin in Hassan. There was a huge role of Eshwarappa in building the party. Circumstances have brought you to this state. You must join hands to make Modi the PM. Time has not lapsed. I am requesting you to talk with leaders in Delhi if you have issues,” he mentioned.
