‘It’s hard to predict which film will succeed’: Madhuri Dixit on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again clash

As Bollywood prepares for a Diwali box-office showdown, Madhuri Dixit has broken her silence on the upcoming clash between the horror-comedy sequel Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, and Rohit Shetty’s action-packed Singham Again, set to release on November 1, 2024.

Madhuri, who returns to screens as the iconic Manjulika in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, recently spoke to Pinkvilla about the rivalry, expressing faith in her film despite the fierce competition. “It’s very hard to predict which film will succeed,” she said, adding, “but I know we’ve made a good product.”

Reflecting on her past experiences, Madhuri recalled the success of her own films Dil and Beta, which both performed well despite coinciding releases. “You never know,” she mused, “big star casts were involved in both those films, and they both did well. Ultimately, it’s the audience who decides.”

Madhuri emphasized that the team behind Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has worked tirelessly, hoping the film resonates with viewers. “We can only hope they like it. The final test is in the theater,” she noted, encouraging audiences to give the film a chance.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Triptii Dimri, while Singham Again boasts a star-studded lineup, including Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, and Akshay Kumar. With both films generating significant buzz, fans can expect an exhilarating Diwali at the box office.
