Jailer opens up to great reception from fans

Rajinikanth starrer Jailer released on August 10th and in many regions early morning shows starting as early as 4:30 am were premiered. This was however not possible in Tamil Nadu owing to a high court order placing a ban on early morning shows that stipulates the number of shows a theatre can screen per day.

In Bengaluru however, fans of Rajinikanth along with fans of Shiva Rajkumar celebrated by bursting crackers early in the morning. Shiva Rajkumar along with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and veteran from Hindi cinema, Jackie Shroff have an extended cameo which is crucial for the plot of the film as per reviewers. Actor Dhanush also joined the celebrations. He is a proclaimed fan of Rajinikanth and did not miss out on the first day, first show screening of the movie in Chennai. Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth was also seen in the film’s screenings. 

The film is being reported as a treat for Rajinikanth fans with a heavy element of chilling, gory violence caught in close ups. The songs are said to have been perfectly placed. The audience is enjoying a twist that arrives right around the interval block. The antagonist played by Malayalam actor Vinayakan and the director Nelson known for his trademark dark humour are both said to have made an impression within the film’s running time.
