Jaipur: ‘You come late to office, that’s why I come late as well’; man’s audacious response to higher-up becomes viral

Ajith Singh, a commercial officer in the audit department of the Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited- Jaipur Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited (JVVNL) was issued a notice by the zonal chief engineer of Kota electricity department, G.S Berva, asking him to explain why he was not present at 9:45 A.M on 14th July, on the premises of his workplace. His signature was not recorded and accountability was sought over the same.

His catchy 2 line reply to the notice has caught everyone’s attention. “Aap swayam kabhi samay par nahi aate hain. Isi liye main bhi samay par nahi aata hoon,” (You are yourself never on time, this is why I do not come on time as well) his reply read, dated on 17th July. The reply started trending on WhatsApp groups in the Kota and Jaipur headquarter branches of the electricity board and subsequently spread on to the internet. 

Note that you are being noticed, and then send the notice, the reporting head must have learnt.
