A Japanese travel vlogger, Kiki Chen, recently highlighted the beauty of Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 2 (T2) through a captivating Instagram video. Chen, amazed by the terminal’s architecture, praised it as “India’s best airport terminal” and marveled at its extensive use of bamboo, even in the check-in counters. Her video showcased various aspects of the terminal, including its lounges, waiting areas, and vibrant food joints, capturing the attention of global audiences.

Terminal 2 of Bengaluru’s airport has been recognized internationally for its innovative design, winning the prestigious ‘Special Prize for an Interior’ from UNESCO’s Prix Versailles, a Paris-based architectural awards jury. Built at a cost of approximately ₹5,000 crore, the terminal reflects the essence of Bengaluru, often referred to as the garden city, by offering travelers a unique “walk in the garden” experience.
