Ahmedabad is set to witness a wedding that blends tradition with inclusivity as Jeet Adani, son of industrialist Gautam Adani, ties the knot with Diva Shah on February 7. While the Adani family has dismissed speculation of a star-studded guest list featuring global icons like Taylor Swift, the celebrations are drawing attention for their philanthropic approach.

The couple recently visited Mitti Café at Mumbai Airport, run by individuals with disabilities, to personally invite the café’s team to the wedding. Further embracing a socially responsible approach, the event will feature collaborations with various NGOs supported by the Adani Group.

A Wedding with a Cause

Several NGOs and artisans have been engaged to craft wedding gifts and decorations. Family of Disabled (FOD) from Delhi will provide hand-painted shawls, while Chennai-based Kai Rassi will design placards and digital prints. Additionally, artisans linked to the Adani Foundation will contribute handcrafted items, including custom beaded jewelry by Ahmedabad’s Nikita Ji and glass art by Munna Ji and Nazmeen from Firozabad.

Guests will receive exclusive handwoven Paithani sarees crafted by 400 artisans from Jagdish Ji Shankari Paithani Sarees, Nashik. Traditional Lac bangles from Bibaji Churi Wala in Jodhpur and handcrafted mud art from Meghdhanush Saheli in Mundra will also feature in the wedding.

Gautam Adani previously stated that his younger son’s wedding would remain an intimate affair, attended by close family and friends. However, its emphasis on social impact sets it apart as a celebration with meaning.
