A four-year-old girl’s drawing and testimony have raised suspicions about the alleged murder of her mother, Sonali Budholia, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The child’s account has led to allegations that her father, Sandeep Budholia, staged the crime as a suicide after assaulting his wife.

Sonali, 27, was married to Sandeep, a medical representative, since 2019. Her in-laws informed her family that she had taken her own life, but their claims were contradicted by their young daughter, Darshita. According to the child, her father had a history of physically abusing Sonali and had previously threatened to kill her.

The girl’s drawing depicted scenes of violence, illustrating how her mother was beaten with a stick, strangled, and later hanged. Reports suggest that Sandeep allegedly assaulted Sonali, inflicted head injuries, and later attempted to manipulate the crime scene to make it appear as suicide.

Following the post-mortem, Sonali was cremated, with Darshita performing the last rites. Meanwhile, Sandeep has gone missing, and authorities have launched an investigation into the case. The police are gathering evidence and testimonies to determine the exact circumstances surrounding Sonali’s death. As the probe continues, efforts to trace the suspect remain a priority.
