A video clip that had gone viral showcased Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestants Armaan Malik and Krtika Malik sharing an intimate moment under the bed sheets inside the sets of the show. The clip had resulted in reactions varying from shock to politicians demanding action against the couple. Jio Cinema has however claimed that the clip circulating is fake. “JioCinema adheres to strict programming standards and guidelines to ensure quality and appropriateness of any content that streams on our platform. Bigg Boss OTT which was streamed on JioCinema did not have any such content. The video clip in circulation is doctored to include obscenity and is fake. We are committed to protecting the integrity of JioCinema and the trust our viewers place in us,” a statement from JioCinema mentioned.

One of Armaan’s wives Payal has already been evicted from the Bigg Boss OTT 3. Payal remarked that the lamps and blankets seen in the viral clip are very different to those on the sets. “The creation and circulation of this fake clip is a matter of very serious concern. Our teams are working towards identifying the origins of this clip and will initiate action against those responsible for creating and distributing such defamatory content against Bigg Boss OTT and JioCinema,” the statement from JioCinema added.
