Bengaluru-based job seeker Prashanth Haridas has caught widespread attention on LinkedIn after posting a deeply emotional message about being ignored by potential employers. His post, reflecting the mental toll of long-term unemployment, resonated with many users across social media, sparking an outpouring of support and even job offers.

Haridas, who described himself as an "AI enthusiast" and a "localization project manager," revealed that he has been unemployed and socially isolated for nearly three years. Expressing frustration over repeated rejections, he said he had invested heavily in grooming and self-improvement, only to be continuously “ghosted” by recruiters and industry professionals.
A striking image accompanying his post, depicting himself on a mock “Rest in Peace” banner with the words "Hated by all, loved by pain and suffering," stirred strong reactions online. While the post sparked concern, Haridas clarified that it was a symbolic expression of emotional exhaustion, not a suicide note.
“I’m not going to kill myself. Just dead, trying to get a job,” he wrote, adding that despite the hardships, he still had dreams to pursue and experiences to live for.
The raw honesty in Haridas's message struck a chord with many LinkedIn users, who responded with empathy, encouragement, and job leads—offering a silver lining in his ongoing journey for employment and hope.
