Actor Kajal Aggarwal has shared her first look as Parvati Devi in the highly anticipated mythological film Kannappa. The movie also features Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and pan-India actor Prabhas in pivotal roles.

In an Instagram post, Kajal revealed her appearance wearing a white saree adorned with intricate jewelry, embodying the divine essence of Parvati Devi. The poster’s tagline describes her as the “Mother who rules over the three worlds” and the protector of devotees residing in the sacred Sri Kalahasti shrine. Sharing the image, Kajal wrote, “A dream role indeed! Happy to be starting 2025 on this divine note #Kannappa #HarHarMahadev #MAAParvatiDevi.”

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Vishnu Manchu under AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, Kannappa boasts an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, Tamannaah Bhatia, and R. Sarathkumar. The multilingual film is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English.

The movie chronicles the story of Kannappa, a legendary devotee of Lord Shiva. His journey from a hunter to a warrior and finally a saint is expected to captivate audiences. With music composed by Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassy, and cinematography by Sheldon Chau, Kannappa promises a visual and emotional spectacle.

The film is slated for a grand release in theatres on April 25, 2025.
