Kangana further remarked that Lord Vishnu was born to protect the oppressed, implying that divine intervention would safeguard artists from undue attacks. Her statement has fueled further debate in political and film circles, with some interpreting it as a strong rebuttal to Congress leaders.
The controversy surrounding DK Shivakumar’s remark continues to escalate, dividing opinions within the Kannada film industry. While some filmmakers and actors have defended the DCM’s statement, others have openly criticized it.
