The property transaction was registered on September 5, 2024, with a stamp duty of ₹1.92 crore and a registration fee of ₹30,000 paid by the buyer. The buyer has been identified as Shweta Bathija, a partner in Kamalini Holdings and based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

This high-profile sale adds to a growing list of significant property deals involving Bollywood celebrities. Kangana, who was BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh in May 2024, had declared assets worth over ₹91 crore in her election affidavit. These included ₹28.7 crore in movable assets and ₹62.9 crore in immovable property.

The sale of this prime Bandra property highlights Kangana’s real estate portfolio and financial standing, further solidifying her position both as an actor and a political figure.

This transaction is one of the major Bollywood property deals of the year, drawing attention to Mumbai's luxury real estate market.
