Prominent Kannada actress Bhavana Ramanna has publicly voiced her support for fellow actor Darshan, who is currently imprisoned in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy. Bhavana, whose real name is Nandini, is not only an acclaimed actress but also a skilled Bharatanatyam dancer.

The actress made headlines recently by standing by Darshan, despite his controversial status. "I stand by Darshan. I have no hesitation in saying this," Bhavana stated, firmly expressing her support. Darshan is the second accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, with Pavithra Gowda being the prime suspect. All accused are presently in jail.

Who is Bhavana Ramanna?

Bhavana Ramanna, originally named Nandini, is a classical Bharatanatyam dancer turned actress. She aspired to be a choreographer until filmmaker Krishnappa Uppur discovered her at a wedding and cast her in her debut film, Maribale. Though her first film didn't achieve commercial success, it paved the way for her to work with other Kannada filmmakers. Bhavana has since appeared in numerous films across Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema, including Bhagirathi, Crazy Star, Family, Once Upon a Time in Jamaligudda, and Otta.

Support for Darshan

Bhavana's support for Darshan comes amid ongoing investigations into Renukaswamy's murder. "I stand with Darshan. I do not hesitate to express this” she reportedly stated emphasizing the importance of considering all perspectives. She also extended her sympathies to Renukaswamy's family.
