According to Giri, the enormous snake was spotted crossing a road but got disturbed by onlookers, prompting it to seek refuge in a bush within a residential compound. The homeowners, realizing the danger posed by the highly venomous snake, immediately contacted the forest department for assistance. The department, recognizing the severity of the situation, reached out to ARRS.

Understanding the potential threat to both the villagers and the snake, the ARRS team swiftly mobilized and arrived at the scene. The team, trained in handling such situations, meticulously planned and executed the rescue operation to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

The video shared by Giri shows the ARRS staff carefully extracting the king cobra from its hiding spot and safely securing it. The successful rescue operation highlights the crucial role of ARRS in wildlife conservation and the importance of swift action in managing human-wildlife conflicts.

The residents of Agumbe can now breathe a sigh of relief, thanks to the quick and effective response by the ARRS team, ensuring the safe removal of the king cobra from their community.
